On Friday, May 14, 2021, I have been asked to give my Zoom presentation, “I Am More than My Brain Injury” to the Seminole Spirit Brain Injury Support Group in Woodstock, Georgia.
Following a brain injury we may find that we are angry and frustrated. Angry and frustrated at what we are powerless to change, the impact of our brain injury…
In the process, we may find that we have been fighting with what we are powerless to change. In the process, we may find that we are/have been fighting with ourselves.
In the process of fighting against ourselves, we may sink further into denial. In our denial we may be led to believe that our brain injuries now define who we are as individuals.
But that is not our reality. Our reality is that we have gifts, talents and abilities waiting to be explored and deployed. Our reality is that we have tremendous worth, value and that we are a gift to our world.
In this zoom presentation I will share what I discovered that empowered my ability to embrace the reality that “I Am More than My Brain Injury”. To view the outline of this presentation, click on this link: “I Am More than My Brain Injury”.
