Christmas was yesterday and the New Year is just a few days away. With New Year celebrations comes the intention to make resolutions. Resolutions to own our power to improve the quality of our lives and relationships.
As I thought about my intent to make new year’s resolutions I realized that I needed to become clear.
I needed to become clear about what I wanted to change. Clear with my focus and my why. Clear with what may not have been working. Working to improve the quality of my life and relationships.
- why I feel stuck
- what is not working
Owning my Power
- by doing something different
- by adapting, adjusting and applying
- by getting different results
What has Helped me
In the event that you feel stuck in some area of your life, I would invite you to take out a piece of paper and a pen/pencil. Begin to write about why you feel stuck. Examine why you have been doing.
If what you have been doing is not getting you the results you would like, own your power. Own your power by doing something different. Do something different by adapting, adjusting, and applying.
Resolving to Own my Power as an Individual impacted by a Brain Injury
