Please read Part 1 for context. Thank you.
Patience provides the road to that goal. Through my patience I have been prepared to enter a 10 month preparation period to test for my black belt in mixed martial arts in October 2009.
As a traumatic brain injury survivor living with an invisible disability I have been presented with a host of challenging experiences and bewildering circumstances. These experiences and circumstances have provided both discouragement and disappointment. The above concept as taught by Bruce Lee has helped tremendously.
The above concept — as taught by Bruce Lee — has helped me to make sense of my experience.
What appeared to be unpleasant and senseless in my experience as a traumatic brain injury survivor provided the necessary ingredients which I needed to have to bake my cake. Through my process, I discovered that my experiences and circumstances had — all along — been providing what was necessary. In essence, those lessons were empowering my process and thus making it possible for me to be able to take advantage of opportunities that have become available.
Apart from these experiences, circumstances and lessons I would not have the necessary ingredients to bake my cake.
As a brain injury survivor, living with or with out an invisible disability, you may be encountering experiences and circumstance that make no sense to you. Consequently, you may be living a life of discouragement and disappointment. Let me encourage you with this my friend. What you are experiencing now is giving you another ingredient. You are being prepared.
As we learn from our experiences and circumstances our lessons will lead us to the opportunities that will in turn reveal our necessary ingredients. Be encouraged my friend. You circumstances, experiences, lessons and opportunities are all leading you to all of your ingredients. You are being prepared to bake your cake.
You will find your bliss. You will live you dream. You will experience your destiny.
