One of the lessons given to me involves a simple truth. Judge not lest you be judged. For in the measure that you deal out to others, will be measured back to you. When I engage in judging anyone for anything, I place myself on a slippery slope. When I judge anyone, I deliberately chose to maintain a negative attitude. To maintain this negative energy toward anyone, I confine myself.
Negative energy does not seek for a solution. Instead, negative energy seeks to oppress and limit. Negative energy by nature seeks to repel positive energy. When I judge anyone, I judge myself. I am trapped by the very judgment that I seek to measure out. Like a boomerang, my judgment circles back to harm me.
Thought for the Day:
Today I will avoid judging anyone. I will make the decision to keep the focus on myself. If I find myself wanting to judge someone, I will stop to consider my motives. I will seek solutions that empower both my life and the lives of those in my world. I will not limit myself.
