I will be 67 years old May 2024. Over the past 26 years I have been using different martial art disciplines to develop my brain-body connection by engaging both sides of my brain and body.
Using repetitive mirrored movements through crossing the center line. Doing so through repetitive mirrored movements to create new neural pathways and brain reorganization. (Neuroplasticity).
Using repetitive mirrored movements has given me the ability to accomplish what I never dreamed possible. I use a combination of western boxing, muay Thai, kali, jeet kune do and several other styles to expand.
Among the holistic topics that I encourage through my 28 presentations is the use of repetitive mirrored movements to create new neural pathways and brain reorganization. Repetitive mirrored movements to create hope through crossing the center line to engage both the right and left sides of the brain and body.
This first video is the article presentation. Below the article presentation is a demonstration. Below that demonstration is the invitation demonstration. Below that is further information and demonstrations displaying my progress using principles of neuroplasticity between 2013 and 2024.

My drilling and training in repetitive mirrored movement, across the center line, has engaged both the right and left brain hemispheres of my brain through the Corpus Callosum. Doing so has given me the ability to increase my brain-body connections and improve my balance, over all coordination.
My hand-eye coordination, foot-eye coordination, my body awareness, focus, agility, gross and fine motor coordination, spatial orientation, precision, intention, flow and reaction time. The application of these drills and skills has improved my abilities far beyond training in different martial arts and boxing.
An Invitation to You
In my experience developing skills and abilities through expanding my brain-body connections has taken a bazillion drills over 26 years. I share this with you to encourage you to not give up on the process of developing new skill and abilities. As I have needed, learn one skill at time, one skill set at a time.
And Don’t Compare Yourself to Anyone as you Build your Brain-Body Connection.
I would also encourage you to develop and engage in your own program to increase your brain-body connection. Start out slow, but start. Combine skills and skill sets together, one skill and one skill set at a time. And don’t give up on your process. And Remember: Slow and Steady wins the race.

Since 2013 I have had friends help to document my progress in developing my brain-body connection. My brain-body connection through creating new neural pathways and brain reorganization. After reading this Craig, I think this might be the crux of your Brothers misguided judging. All this sounds great and everything you discuss is positive and rewarding. Your brother is confused by this because he only sees success as having a job. He doesn’t understand that what you talk about is fundemetal to feeling good about yourself and being able to move on and be happy and able to participate in the community and have a qualty life without being judged. Having a quality life for your brother means having a job. But it takes what you talk about to get ready for employment.
