On March 17, 2021, I have been asked by the Brain Injury Association of Indiana to give my zoom presentation, Neuroplasticity, Setting Goals and Creating Hope After Brain Injury.
For Professionals and Providers attending the Zoom Presentation
My name is Craig J. Phillips. I sustained an open skull fracture, with right frontal lobe damage, a severe brain bruise with brain stem involvement in 1967 when I was 10 years old. I remained in a coma for 3 weeks.
I will be 64 years old in May 2021.
I obtained my master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling in December 1990 from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. I obtained my Certified Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) credentials in December 1990.
I maintained my credentials as a CRC for 10 years. I have worked in public and private rehabilitation.
I created Second Chance to Live on February 6, 2007. I believe an ongoing brain injury recovery process needs to involve the mind, body, soul and spirit.
