20 Posters to Encourage and Inspire Hope
Introduction
On February 6, 2007 I will be celebrating the 18th anniversary of creating Second Chance to Live. Throughout the past 18 years I have sought to offer information to encourage a holistic approach (body, soul, spirit, mind and emotions) to an ongoing brain injury recovery process. In this pursuit I have sought to offer the information and resources in different formats.
Reason for these Posters
The reason for putting similar information into different formats is from what I learned from personal experience. I had a friend who tried to teach me things about the computer in ways that I did not understand. The process left him frustrated and angry and me feeling like there was something wrong with me. After several years of leaving frustrated, I made changes.
My own Discovery
After researching and investigating I stumbled on the way that I learn. Through watching You Tube videos and following patterns. The learning process took a long time, because I have short term memory deficits and difficulty learning sequences of information. But I am glad that I did not give up and in the process of persevering I found success in learning new skills.
Similar Experiences
With my own experience, I realized that other people living with brain injuries may also have a similar experience. A similar experience with people trying to teach them in ways that they do not learn. A similar experience leaving both parties involved angry and frustrated. So, with this awareness, I decided to present information in different formats for people.
Encouraging an Ongoing Holistic Recovery Process
In articles, video presentations, discussion and keynote presentations and eBooks. To offer another format I began creating posters. On October 24, 2024 I designed my first poster, Create Your Destiny in the Now Poster to offer another way to encourage ongoing brain injury recovery. Since that time, I have created 19 other posters to encourage and inspire.

To provide easy access to each of these 20 Posters I decided to create this eBook. An eBook to encourage anyone who may be experiencing life challenges in their brain and body due to the impact of living with a brain injury, stroke or other cognitive disability.
