Second Chance to Live

Empowering the Individual, Not the Brain Injury

Having the Courage to be Me

March 28, 2011 By Second Chance to Live

Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. In life, many of us ask the question, “What is my Purpose?” or What is my Destiny?” In our quest to find the answers to these questions we find ourselves often waiting on some one to appear with the clarity that we are seeking. In my experience, I spent many years of my life waiting for some one to appear to reveal what I could only define.

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and then go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Harold Thurman Whitman

So when I discovered that I was the only one who could define my purpose and my destiny, I initially experienced some fear and trepidation. Nevertheless, I knew that I wanted to pursue my purpose to fulfill my destiny. At the time, I did not know how to best use my gifts, talents and abilities. At the time, I had no idea that Second Chance to Live was going to meet an international need.

“Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.” Unknown

With my drive to fulfill my purpose and my destiny, I took the steps to develop my gifts, talents and abilities. With my drive to fulfill my purpose and my destiny I did the research to find a way to use my gifts, talents and abilities. With my drive to fulfill my purpose and destiny, I prayed and made the decision to use WordPress.com and I decided to name my web log, Second Chance to Live.

“To find what you seek in the road of life, the best proverb of all is that which says: “Leave no stone unturned.” Edward Bulver Lytton

My friend you may be asking the question (s) – “What is my Purpose?”, “What is my Destiny?” I can not answer those questions for you, but I can share what I have learned through my process. Take advantage of your circumstances, lessons and opportunities for they will be your guides.

Trust the process, a loving God and yourself, and I guarantee that more will be revealed to you – with / in time.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Thomas Edison

“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.” The Buddha

You have my permission to share my articles and or video presentations with anyone you believe could benefit, however please attribute me as being the author of the article (s) video presentation (s), and provide a link back to the article (s) on Second Chance to Live. In the event that you have questions, please send those questions to me. All questions are good questions. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you. Copyright 2007-2015.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day.

    Hi Kevin,
Thank you for giving me more information. I now understand. It now makes sense to me. Thank you Kevin. Let me explain. Because I do not have the money to pay for a email mailing service, I am limited to what free services provide. Of the free email mailing services, Feedburner — provided by Google — is the service that I use. Being that the service does not provide certain features, I am limited to what FeedBurner subscriptions provide through their service.

One of the features that is lacking is active links in their subscription service. So when you receive articles that I write in your email, there are not an active link to my contact page. Because I am not able to offer the active link to my contact page through the FeedBurner subscription service, please continue to use my contact page through Second Chance to Live https://secondchancetolive.org/leaving-comments/. Thank you Kevin.

In the event that you know of anyone who would like to sponsor a paying subscription service for Second Chance to Live please ask those individuals / parties to let me know my friend. I would love to provide / offer a full service email subscription service to my readers. Thank you.

I will say so long for now. Have a pleasant and rewarding rest of your day and God bless both you and your family Kevin.

    Craig
