Abstract to the Presentation
I believe that an ongoing brain and stroke recovery process needs to involve the whole person.
Body, Soul, Spirit, Mind and Emotions
Brain injury and Stroke recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. Consequently, once individual leaves the hospital and rehabilitation setting, self-advocacy becomes essential to their ongoing recovery process.
This presentation will offer information, that can in turn be shared. Shared with those in your care to facilitate their ability to advocate. Advocate for themselves in their mind, body, spirit, soul and emotions.
