I am glad to have you back in my world. Not just my world, but the world we all live in each day. You and I are given the same amount of time to use each day, to use as we chose. We can squander those minutes and hours with fruitless pursuits, or we can use our time to lay a foundation that will last a lifetime. I like to read material that motivates me to dream big. One quote that I read several years ago motivated me in that manner. Henry David Thoreau stated, “If you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life that you have imagined…You will meet with success unexpected in common hours.”
Over my lifetime, I have needed to ask myself several very important questions. Do you have a dream? What steps are you taking to prepare you to fulfill that dream? Are you willing to put in the time to prepare, so that when the opportunity presents itself, you will be ready? Are you waiting for someone to validate your existence and your gifts? Do you need the approval of others to pursue your vision? Are you sitting idly by while you wait for some sort of coronation to you get busy? Why are you afraid of failing or being successful? Why do you allow people to discourage you from following your dreams? These are some question that we all need to ask ourselves. Concluded in Part 2 .
