On February 6, 2007 I created Second Chance to Live. During the course of the past 7 years I have written articles and created video presentations to share what has helped me in my recovery process. In my experience, I have found that to recover, in my mind, body and spirit; I have needed to and continue to need to be honest with myself. Over the course of the past 7 years I have written 1344 articles and created 256 video presentations to share what I have learned about myself.
Over the summer of 2014 I created a library with categories of my articles and video presentations to aid in accessing articles and video presentations on specific topics. In early January 2015, I created 2 e Books. One e Book containing a selection of the video presentations that I created and another e Book containing a selection of the articles that I have written. During the past several weeks, I have felt the leading to create e Booklets, from the category topics. In today’s e Booklet I would like to offer a selection of articles from my category on hope.
In my experience and for many years I maintained a distorted perception of hope. I envisioned hope as in fairy tales, that if I just, then I would… My perception of hope was based on destination thinking, which blocked my relationship with hope. Through my recovery process, I discovered that there were blocks that I needed to address so that I could have a healthy relationship with hope. In the articles contained in this e Booklet; I share what I discovered about myself that helped me to repair and develop a healthy, functional and empowered relationship with hope.
I would invite you to read the articles in this e Booklet. To open the e Booklet, you may click on this link:
