I do not know about you, but attempting to accomplish a new “thing” creates stress and anxiety.
Stress and Anxiety in Me
The reason for this stress is two fold. One, filters being damaged in my brain and two, a fear of failure.
A fear of failure stemming from a fear of being blamed and shamed for not doing the “thing” perfectly.
Faced with Several “things”
Recently, I have been faced with several new “things” that I need to accomplish. Both, of which started the cycle of stress and anxiety in me. But, thank God after my morning meditation and asking God to help I received some helpful guidance. Guidance that reminded me that I could break the “things” down.
Guidance that reminded me that I could accomplish the “things” in manageable steps. In the process, I could take steps to manage my stress and anxiety.
Today’s thought
In the event that you are living with a brain injury and like me experience stress and anxiety, let me make a suggestion. If you have a “thing” to accomplish, break the “thing” into manageable steps. As you do, like me, you may find, as I have, that you are able to manage your stress and anxiety to accomplish your “thing”.

Great information Craig on stress and fear. You mentioned the fear of failure as causing stress that triggers anxiety but “fear of success” can also trigger anxiety too. Over the years I have seen people sabotage themselves from achieving employment opportunities or being happy in a relationship. The fear of success is something that can hold people back from achieving their potential for living a good life.

Hi Ken,
Thank you, Sir. I agree. Fear of success too. Interesting how that gets set up and why there is a need to sabotage success?
Hope you are doing well.
Have a great weekend.
