Living with the impact of a brain injury and an invisible disability revealed my “four-leaf clover”.
My brain injury did not “happen to me”, but “happened for me”.
Understanding that my brain injury “happened for me”, “instead of to me”, brought and gave me luck.
Brought and gave me luck by responding, not reacting to the impact of my brain injury.
Brought and gave me luck by learning one skill and one skill set at a time as building blocks.
By responding to my brain injury, one skill and one skill set at a time, I was brought to and given the ability to create luck. Create luck by not giving up on the process, a loving God or myself.
