Second Chance to Live

Empowering the Individual, Not the Brain Injury

Living with a brain injury – Please Do Not Give Up!

August 9, 2011 By Second Chance to Live

Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. Thank you. Today I published my 3rd presentation on YouTube. My hope is that as you listen to what I have shared in this presentation, you will be encouraged to not give up on your process, a loving God or yourself. Click on the blue link to listen to the presentation Living with a brain injury – Please Do Not Give Up!

As my experience has proven over the years, more has been revealed to me. More will be revealed to you too my friend.

It has been my experience that I can not know until I know. My experience has also proven that if I seek I find – in time. My experience has also proven that pain and discomfort motivates me to seek answers. I liken my process to that of the layers of an onion. In my experience, I have found that deeper layers of my onion are revealed to me as I continue to trust the process, a love God and myself. My part in the process is my willingness to learn.

In my experience, I have found that what I thought had been meant for my harm turned, out to be for my good. What I thought was unfair, has empowered my process. What I thought had left me hopeless, turned out to be a conduit of hope. What I thought disqualified my ability to have future and a hope, gave me a future and a hope. What I thought were crummy plans, turned out to be plans for my good.

What appeared to be hidden from me, is becoming clear to me. Doors that remained shut to me, have slowly started to open.

Be assured that what has occurred in your life and what may be occurring in your life has and is not meant for your harm. What occurred in your life and what may be occurring in your life has and is not meant for your calamity. What you may think are crummy plans, are going to work out to be plans for your good. More will be revealed to you too.

What you may see as disqualifying you from having a future and a hope will turn out to give you a future and a hope. As has been my experience, more will be revealed to you so please do not give up on your process, a loving God or yourself.

“For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 Old Testament

“If you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life that you have imagined…you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” Henry David Thoreau

Craig has recently taken on the YouTube posting of the material he has written (and I have read) for several years. It is remarkable to witness how quickly he has gotten ‘up-to-speed’ with these “video” postings. It is an entirely new experience now…much more accessible (I have always found the written word to be problematic).

This man has much to offer our community. HIGHLY recommend.

    Scott

      Hi Scott,
Thank you very much my friend. I am in the process of learning and tweaking what I am doing and going to do through YouTube presentations. Please keep me in your prayers my friend. Thank you.

Have a pleasant and rewarding day and God bless both you and your family Scott.

      Craig
