In 1967 I sustained an open skull fracture, with right frontal lobe damage, severe brain bruise, brain stem involvement. In 1968 2 EEGs, a neuropsychological evaluation.
Results
The results from these tests revealed that I was not expected to succeed beyond high school academically.

In 1993 the Florida Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (as a client, while still working as a voc rehab counselor) an EEG and a neuropsychological evaluation.
Results
The results from these tests showed that I had succeeded far beyond all reasonable expectations.

After a long history of getting and losing jobs, 3 Applications for SSDI with the Social Security Administration and 2 Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluations (Florida Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and the North Carolina Department of Vocational Rehabilitation)
Results
I was declared disabled and deemed to be unemployable.

I kept looking for a way (s) to use my gifts, talents and abilities in ways that would work for me, despite being told I was disabled and unemployable

Don’t give up searching for a way to use your gifts, talents and abilities in ways that will work for you. Don’t let test results or prognosis’s limit you
