Evolution of Second Chance to Live to share Hope
On February 6, 2007, 17 years ago, I created Second Chance to Live.
I created my website to share what I had learned that gave me hope after my traumatic brain injury. I began writing articles (now 2173 articles).
Several years later I began creating video presentation to share my articles in another format (now 462 video presentations)
In 2015-2016 I decided to start putting a collection of my articles and video presentations into another format. I created 12 eBooks. Each of the 12 eBooks (8 article and 4 video presentation) on different topics.
I wrote these 12 eBooks as a natural evolution in the process of wanting to make information offered available. Make information offered through Second Chance to Live available in another format.
In 2018 I began creating keynote presentations to share practical hope in another format (now 28 keynote presentations). In June 2020 (with Zoom) I was able to begin sharing these keynote presentations.
Sharing these presentations throughout the United States. Since the end of June 2020 I have been able to share from these presentations with groups, hospitals, rehab centers, schools and universities, thus far, 140 times.
In 2022 I began revising the 12 eBooks that I had written in 2015-2016, After completing the project of revising these 12 eBooks I made the decision to make them available on Amazon Kindle in May 2024.
Present and Future Plans
During May and June 2024, I worked on writing and creating another 4 eBooks. In these eBooks I shared from the development of several of and my actual keynote presentations. I did so to make the information within these keynote presentations available to individuals both nationally and internationally.
To individuals who may not or have not been able attend one or more of my keynote presentations. I plan on continuing to write eBooks to share from my 28 keynote presentations to encourage hope. Hope in individuals, who like myself, are living with brain injuries and many times invisible disabilities.
