Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live my friend. I hope you are doing well today. I am doing well. Of late I have been at a loss concerning topics to write articles about for Second Chance to Live. In my desire to stir up my creative thinking I did some research on line. In the process, I came across a web page that sparked some creative thinking in me: Sources of Insight. On this particular web page there are 101 Questions that Empower.
In my experience I have found some times I do not know how to find the answer because I don’t know what question to ask. In my experience, I have found that a question can spark curiosity and can lead to finding the answers that I am seeking. In the list of 101 Questions there are many questions to investigate, explore and expand upon. In my search for an answer, I found one such question that helped to answer a question that I needed to ask.
Who do you want to be and what experiences do you want to create?
What I want to be is of service through the gifts, talents and abilities that I have been given. How I use my gifts, talents and abilities to serve is some thing that I will continue to explore. The above question helped me to stir up my creative thinking and re-orient my focus, as I seek to be a more creative and effective communicator. The above question helps to remind me that creating is an ongoing process, that I can participate in each day, to varying degrees.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. And as I keep moving, before long I will be able to look back and see how far I have come in my process — because I did not give up.
