Pursuing our dreams our destinies can seem out of reach after our brain injuries. In my experience, my hopes and dreams eluded me for many years after my brain injury. But I am glad that I did not give up.
Below are several quotes that have encouraged me to pursue my dream and my destiny. May they also encourage you to pursue your dreams and destiny.
“Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.”
In the event that you have had individuals who have discouraged you from pursuing your dreams and your destinies, be encouraged, my friend.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs
“This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!”

One step. One day at a time.
