Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live my friend. I am happy to have you around my table. Thank you for being here. Have you ever found yourself angry and over reacting to people, places and things? I have my friend. I would like to share some thing with you that I have discovered through my process. Many times what I am angry about or over reacting to has nothing to do with present day events. What I am angry about or over reacting to is merely a trigger to past events and situations that I have not made peace with in my life.
By not making peace with the events and situations of my past, these events and situations jade my present.
The good news is that I have found that I do not have to stay angry or stuck. Instead, I can be empowered by my feelings in the present by looking at past events and situations. In my experience, I have found that writing in a journal has helped me tremendously. By writing in a journal I have been able to sort things out. In the process of writing, I have found that my heart has told my head things that my head did not know and my head has helped my heart to let go of things that once have kept me angry and stuck.
By making peace with my past I have been able to stop reacting in my present. By making peace with my past I have been able to make a brand new present.
“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” Carl Bard
