Beginnings
This concept can be daunting. Do beginnings start from the ending of something or from the start of a new day? Are they quantitative, cumulative, and expanding? Does the journey continue apart from the beginning? Sometimes the answer does not become apparent until the end of the beginning. This seems to be defined by relativity and its design is often sublime in meaning. Am I coming or am I going from here to there or from there to here?
When I consider the mystery contained in the beginning, I can feel overwhelmed. Life in its very essence can be understood by watching ants as they move about under the sun. These creatures seem to be toiling and gesturing in their frantic activity, to provide meaning and purpose to their existence. As I look closer, the riddle I have sought to understand is explained.
I am told that I do not need to know the beginning from the end. The message proclaims that I do not have to be distracted by time or any demand that life beckons forth. Instead, I can be poised to paint with my life in the now. Beginnings and endings no longer need to be the distinction of my existence. The physical world no longer needs to be attached to the quality of my life. I am free to listen to the whispers of my soul and be guided by peace. Meaning and purpose are found in this moment of time.
