Below is a Brief Introduction to the Article
For many years I focused on what I could not do, instead of focusing on what I could do.
Instead of realizing that I could focus on being the best I can be, just for today.
You see, I felt a tremendous amount of shame for not being enough.
For not getting it right “now”, not realizing that I had a learning disability.
A learning disability that takes me longer to learn.
Learn things without doing them over and over again.
Shame (Should Have Already Mastered Everything)
Shame, through blame and criticism, distracted me from realizing and embracing my style of learning.
Distracted me from accepting the rate and pace in which I learn.
