Last night I shared some great news with you concerning Second Chance to Live and CDS at the University of Hawai’i. Earlier today — when I picked up my mail — I received some more great news. I want to share that good news with you, my friend.
Today, June 6, 2010, I received a copy of ARNA — Official Journal of the Australasian Rehabilitation Nurses’ Association in the mail. Within their journal, I found that an article from Second Chance to Live had been published on pages 9 -10, “To Empower Nurses is to Empower Their Patients”, Volume 13 Number 1 2010. I am honored to have had one of my articles published in this prestigious journal and to have the opportunity to be of service to rehabilitation nurses in Australia.
The article published in the journal is Traumatic Brain Injury and Denial–My Perspective as a TBI Survivor. To read the article as shown on Second Chance to Live, click on this link: Traumatic Brain Injury and Denial–My Perspective as a TBI Survivor
In response, I look forward to being of service to the rehabilitation process of individuals and families who have been impacted by brain injuries. To be of service, I have written a series of articles to encourage, motivate, empower and provide hope to enhance your rehabilitation process. The information presented in each of my articles will enhance the service provision of rehabilitation nurses.I have provided a way to access a list of the articles written on a variety of topics and categories by clicking on this link: Good News Following a Brain Injury.
