Following a brain injury, a person’s life changes in many ways. Among those changes is the individual’s ability to relate to both themselves and other people. What once appeared to be easy, may now be a struggle. As a result, the individuals may experience changes in their self-image. The changes in how individuals living with brain injuries can serve to undermine their self-esteem and their ability to accept themselves. As a result, individuals living with brain injuries may find themselves stuck.

Changes in self-image, self-esteem and self-acceptance can lead the individual living with a brain injury to question their worth and value. In Living with a Brain Injury Building Self-Esteem and Self-Acceptance I speak to how the individual, living with a brain injury; can begin to re-define their sense of self-esteem and grow in self-acceptance. Although our brain injuries may change how we relate to ourselves and other people, these changes do not have to keep us feeling like victims.

In this eBook I share ways in which to build self-esteem as an individual living with brain a brain injury. In this eBook, I share what has helped me to keep from being pulled back into believing that I am my brain injury. In this eBook, I share what has helped me to take back my power and learn to use what works for me. What I share in this eBook has helped me to define what self-acceptance looks like to me. What I share in this eBook has helped me to learn to be real with both myself and with other people.

What I share in this eBook has helped me, as an individual living with a brain injury; to trade a lie for the truth and create a life for myself.
