Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by to visit with me. Several days ago Second Chance to Live hit a milestone. I want to share that milestone with you for several reasons. In July of 2011 a friend of mine suggested that I consider creating video presentations. As I considered her suggestion, I started doing some research to see how I could begin making video presentations.
Through my research I found that I could use a free service – Windows Live Movie Maker – part of Windows to create video presentations that I could upload to You Tube. I then inquired of my friends to see if any of them had a web cam — that they were not using– that I could purchase, borrow or have to use. One of my friends contacted me and let me know that she had one that she was not using that I could borrow indefinitely.
Once I obtained the web cam from her – thank you Alice – I set off on learning how to use the web cam and and how to create video presentations with Windows Live Movie Maker. After I learned how use the web cam and the movie maker I started to think about how I could best use my newly acquired web cam and movie maker capability to encourage, motivate, empower and share hope with the Second Chance to Live community.
Through my process and my journey, I discovered that people learn in different ways. Some individuals learn through reading, while other individuals learn through listening and watching. With my awareness, I decided to begin making the articles that I write available to individuals who learn through watching and listening. My newly acquired web cam and movie maker gave me the capacity to share the articles I write in video format.
After creating a You Tube channel, I began uploading video presentations of my articles on July 29, 2011. Recently I uploaded my 100th video presentation to You Tube to share what has encourage, motivated, empowered and given me hope. I would invite you to become a subscriber of my You Tube channel. You may subscribe to my You Tube Channel by clicking on the following link, Second Chance to Live Channel.
I have also created a Site Map of my You Tube Video Presentations on my web site. With in this Site Map I have a list of the video presentations that I have created for You Tube. You can watch each of the video presentations by clicking on the title of the presentation in my Site Map. By clicking on the titles of the presentation, the presentation will open in You Tube.
