What have I found – through my process — is that some people may never be able to accept my reality, much less grow in their awareness of my reality. What I have found – through my process – is that if I wait for someone else to change through gaining and awareness or acceptance of my reality, I may never make the necessary changes to be empowered in my reality.
What I have found – through my process — is that some people are not able to grow in their awareness of my reality because for them – my reality is too painful for them to accept. What I have found – through my process – is that some people are unable to grow in their awareness and acceptance of my reality, because to do so would require them to change and such change would be too painful for them.
I have found that no matter how loud I speak or how hard I try to explain my reality – in a bazillion different ways – some people simply are not going to accept, much less grow in their awareness of my reality. I have found that if I am waiting for someone to grow in their awareness of brain injury before I am able to feel comfortable living in my own skin, I may never feel comfortable living in my own skin.
