Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. Thank you. Over the past several days I have been in a funky place. I believe my funk has been due to a combination of different reasons. As I have examined my “funkiness” I came to the conclusion that I have unconsciously been concerned about several situations, as well as my in ability to train as hard as I had been training before this past February 3rd — when I injured my knee at the marital arts school
After speaking with my Sensei and once I got up the motivation I went to the Y to try something he suggested. Working out in the pool. By doing so I was able to have a wonderful work out as I used the water’s resistance with out harming my knee. I swam laps using flippers and then walked multiple laps while using under water weights to push against the resistance of the water. After spending an hour in the pool my perspective changed. I was able to let go of my the situations and trust the process.
I was able to let go of the situations and trust the process. I was able to work out at a sustained intensity with out hurting my knee.
Please read Part 2 for context. Thank you.
