Hi, and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. You are always welcome to stop by when you get a chance. Early yesterday morning I had some computer problems. When I could not fix the situation, I decided to let go and go about my business. I did some book keeping and some other paperwork and then I got a good nights sleep. From my past experience, I have learned that staying in the moment is much better than spending time worrying about matters that are out of my control. When things do not go the way I would like, I do not have to be anxious. I have learned that anxiety and worry is something I do to myself.
Worry is like a rocking chair: It gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.

When plans do not work out the way I expect, I get to choose how I respond. How I respond will impact my peace of mind, my tranquility and the rest of my day. Through my experience, I have learned that I can determine to take advantage of that which is out of my control. Using the opportunities created by a redirect allows me to live life on life’s terms. By looking for ways to use my time, I replace negative energy (worry) with positive energy (creativity).
Worry, by nature, creates the illusion that I am somehow being responsible to / for that which is out of my control. Reality has proven that worry entraps and distracts. Consequently, my ability to make good decisions goes impeded.

You may have redirects happening to you throughout your day. When these changes occur, I would encourage you, as I need to tell myself, don’t panic. Look at the redirects as gifts that happen to enhance your process. Although we may not understand why the redirects occur, you and I can trust the process.
Foot Note: To make a long story short, my best friend fixed a bootstrap within my computer (I have no idea what that translates to in computer language) and I was back online late last night.
