Hi, and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am glad you decided to stop by and visit with me. Yesterday, I began this series with the basic elements and requirements of a training camp. In part 1 we saw that commitment, determination, fortitude and courage are all necessary to advance through the rigors of the camp. We also discussed how being diligent to persevere in the face of discouragement and setbacks create character. In my experience, character must be established on a foundation of humility (Please read my post, The Power of Perspective). Apart from humility, any progress that is made will be eclipsed through arrogance. Arrogance interrupt’s the participant’s ability to progress in the camp. The product of arrogance closes the eyes and ears of the participant. When the participant can not see or hear what is essential to advance in the camp, they will cease to benefit from the training camp.
