I began engaging in the process of repetitive mirrored movements at the age of 40. I am now 61.
Over the course of the past 21 years, I have practiced repetitive mirrored movements by engaging the right and left sides of my body. In the process, I have seen significant progress in my brain and body’s ability to coordinate and execute skills and abilities. In the process, my well-being and quality of life has improved,
By engaging in repetitive mirrored movements I have made progressive improvements in my skills and ability to excel in and accomplish what I never dreamed possible.
Yearly Improvements — Video Documentation
Beginning in 2013, friends have kindly videotaped my progress using repetitive mirrored movements in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. I have asked friends to video tape my progress to document the progress made in each consecutive year, as I have incorporated new skills and abilities.
I share these video’s to encourage you to not give up on your process of using repetitive mirrored movement. By not giving up on your process (over time) you will be amazed with your process and gains.
About 15 years ago, at the beginning of class, my Sensei (martial arts instructor) shared a quote with the class. That quote has stuck with me.

How I Use the Principle of Neuroplasticity to Create new Neural Pathways and Brain Reorganization
I have been using different martial art disciplines over the past 20 years to engage both the right and left sides of my body. In the process, I have given myself the ability to improve and excel in a whole host of abilities and capabilities. In the process, I have been creating my own martial art style using principles from Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Modern Arnis, Kali, Filipino Stickfighting and Wing Chun.
I began my process of using repetitive mirrored movements through different martial art disciplines in October of 1998.
In August 2013 a friend of mine made a video presentation of the progress that I made using the principle of neuroplasticity. Other friends have helped me to make video presentations of my progress in each year since 2013.
