Following a traumatic brain injury strengthening our mind, body, and spirit becomes an important part of our ongoing recovery process. Through a commitment to that process doors open to us.
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Helen Keller
And as we stay committed to the process of strengthening our mind, body and spirit we find the freedom to run our own race.
We become willing and able to walk through the doors that have opened to us.
We are free to celebrate the gains we make without comparing ourselves to anyone.
We are free to develop our mind, body and spirit in ways that work for us.
