In the world in which we live we may find ourselves buying into a “fast food” or “microwave” mindset. In the process, we may have a difficult time truly enjoying our lives.
Such a mindset can lead us to believe that if “things” do not happen “quickly” that there is something wrong.
In the process, we may find ourselves stuck in the past or frozen in the present.
In the process, we may not value our past, nor our present.
As a consequence we may be led to believe that little hope exists.
Several years ago I read a quote that made a lot of sense to me.
“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” Carl Bard
Although I can not change what may have happened to me, I can make peace with what happened to me.
By doing so I no longer have to let what happened to me get in the way of creating something new.
By making peace with something that happened to me, I can create a brand new ending for myself.
Another quote reminds me that I can do the work to create a different outcome for myself.
“You are always free to change your mind and choose a different future, or a different past.” Richard Bach
And the good news is that the outcome does not have to be time-limited.
Another quote reminds me that I can choose something different.
“Create each day anew.” Morihei Ueshiba
In the process I am encouraged to not give up on myself or my process.
An Awareness and a Strategy that Helped Me

You also may find the information shared within the article and video presentation helpful. Helpful in making peace with your past and creating anew.
