How am I running my race? This is a question that I need to ask myself. Not to challenge my efforts, but to keep me on track. To keep me moving in the direction of my dreams, one stride at a time. To help me stay on course.
Below are several questions that help to keep me on track running my race.
Am I running my race with focus, commitment and determination?
Am I allowing obstacles, discouragement or disappointments to get in the way of running my race?
How do I view obstacles / discouragement / disappointment as I run my race?
Am I judging my efforts to run my race, with the efforts of other people running their races?
What am I doing to keep focused and determined when running my race gets tough?
Do I see my race as a long race (over a lifetime) or as a sprint (that I have to win now)?
Am I determined to not give up on my race when running my race is difficult?
As I ask and answer the above questions, I am able to stay on track; as I run my race. As you are able, please share with me what helps you to stay on track, as you run your race. Thank you.
