Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live my friend. Thank you for deciding to stop by to visit with me. Several days ago I made a decision to take some action about some thing that I wanted to set in motion to accomplish. I decided to make my screen name born2EmPWR, as that is what I am seeking to do through my life with my mission and vision.
Roughly, about 8 years ago I did a pretty thorough study on the subject of empowerment. As I thought about my screen name I decided that to revisit the study that I had done on the subject of empowerment. As I began reading in the binder of material that I drafted on the topic, some thing I had written during my study 8 years ago caught my attention. I would like to share that with you.
And I wrote, “In looking at the word satisfy, the definition asserts “to be adequate.” This definition implies that to be satisfied is to feel adequate.” As I thought about what I had written I saw the correlation between being satisfied and being adequate. Being adequate conveys being enough. If I am enough, I have nothing to prove to be able to be satisfied in / with my life.
Consequently, I can be content or satisfied with where I am at in my life. I can be content and satisfied in my life by recognizing that I am in process and that I am committed to learning. I can be satisfied and content with my life by recognizing that my efforts are good enough. I can be content and satisfied with my life by trusting the process, a loving God and myself.
Through being content and satisfied with my life, I am empowered.
Our circumstances are not meant to keep us down, but they are meant to build us up!
