In my experience, I discovered that as I began to identify and address beliefs and behaviors that blocked and kept me in no win cycles and toxic relationships, I found a new freedom. I discovered that as I began to identify and address blocks that hindered my ability to trust the process and a loving God with my will and my life, I found a new freedom. I discovered that as I began to identify and address blocks that kept me fighting against myself, I found a new freedom. I discovered that as I stopped fighting against myself, I stopped seeing myself as a victim.
I discovered that as I stopped seeking myself as a victim, I began seeing my circumstances in a new light. I discovered that as I began to see my circumstances in a new light, I found that I had the power to choose. With the power to choose, I began to realize that I could live outside of the box of other peoples expectations. I discovered that by living outside the box of other peoples expectations, I could trust the process, a loving God and myself. I discovered that by trusting a loving God with my will and my life, I could be free to be fully me without apology.
Today’s Thought
Several years ago a friend shared some thing with me that changed the way that that I looked at change, If nothing changes, it will remain the same. Another friend shared some thing with me that changed the way that I looked at opportunity, Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Both friends helped me to see my life and experience in a new way.
In the event that you find yourself in no win cycles and toxic relationships, my encouragement would be that you begin to identify and address beliefs and behavior that keep you stuck. If you find yourself having a difficult time trusting the process and a loving God with your will and your life, I would encourage you to identify and address beliefs and blocks hinder your ability to trust. If you find that you that you are frequently saying you are sorry, I would encourage you to identify and address beliefs, behaviors and blocks that keep you feeling like a victim.
In the event that you have not found a way to identify and address blocks that hinder you, I would encourage you to work on finding a good 12 step support group. I would encourage you to listen to other people’s experience, strength and hope in meetings. I would encourage you to find a sponsor who has what you want and ask them to be your sponsor. In the event that they are not able to sponsor you at this time, ask if they could be your temporary sponsor until you find another person. I would also encourage you to work the 12 Action Steps with your sponsor my friend.
