Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live my friend. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. Thank you. As individuals, we invariably encounter adversities during our lifetime. These adversities can leave us feeling baffled and confused. In the midst of the adversity, we may loss sight of our hopes and dreams. In the midst of adversity we may lose of ourselves.
But adversity has taught me a valuable lesson. I can use adversity to empower my pursuit of a particular mental attribute that makes me feel deeply and vitally alive. I can use adversity to fuel that mental attribute – or my passion — in such a way to keep me focused on my hopes and my dreams. I can use adversity to empower my resolve to follow my inner voice. I can use adversity to ignite determination.
“Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel deeply and vitally alive, along which your inner voice says, ‘This is the real me,’ and when you have found that attitude, follow it.” James Truslow Adams
Today’s Thought
In life, adversity is unavoidable. How we choose to use adversity will determine how we experience our lives. We can use adversity to empower our pursuit of that particular mental attribute which makes us feel deeply and vitally alive. We can use adversity to bring about our clarity of mind and spirit.
We can use adversity to ignite the mental attribute – or our passion – that keeps us focused on our hopes and dreams. We can use adversity to empower our resolve to follow our inner voice. We can use adversity to fuel our determination to follow the mental attitude that says, “This is the real me”.
