Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. Thank you for making the decision to stop by to visit with me. As you may have noticed by reading articles from Second Chance to Live I spend a good deal of my time reflecting and being introspective. During the past several days I have felt a bit disoriented and confused with my life. As I have learned from my past experience – when I am in such a place – I can use a powerful tool. I can use the power of a question.
By taking out at piece of paper and a pen – instead of typing my questions out on the key board – I connect with a part of myself that I did not know existed or that I was previously unable to see or embrace. Through being rigorously honest with myself — in my questions — I am able to accept my humanity as an individual. By asking myself questions, I am able to do an inventory of what may be blocking my ability to move beyond my disorientation and confusion.
Through being honest with myself – by asking questions – I am able to invite a loving God into the equation of answering those questions. By asking questions, I am able to gain clarity for my confusion. By asking questions, I am able to find direction for my disorientation. By asking questions, I am able to move beyond my fear and apprehension. By asking myself questions, I am able to take responsibility for what I need to do for myself. By asking myself questions, I am able to make empowering choices.
