Being a brain injury advocate does not have to be a grand event. The process of advocating for ourselves and for other traumatic brain injury survivors is a simple, but persistent process – by educating one person at a time. We may not be able to change everyone’s mind, but we can do our part.
Although we may not be able to change some people’s minds – no matter how much time and effort we put into trying to convince them of our realities – you and I can plant seeds. Through becoming aware and by helping other people to become aware, assumed ignorance no longer limit you or I my friend.
