Approximately 4 weeks ago I began this series. After completing part 7 of the series, I felt led to write about other topics. I have completed those projects, so I want to resume this series in Part 8. Because I completed Part 7 3 weeks ago, I would encourage and suggest that you to begin at the beginning of the series before reading this part – Part 8.
By doing so you will be able to benefit from each part of the series, as each part of the series builds on the previous parts of the series. Below you will see each part. Simply click on each part of the series and you will be taken to that part of the article. If you have any questions please ask. All questions are good questions. Thank you.

With repeated conditioning, the roles and the denial system (s) serve to minimize, marginalize, dismiss and discount what the family unit or relationship does not want to accept or confront. Consequently, instead of empowering the family unit or the relationship, the underlying and unresolved pain – in effect — sabotages the individuals who participate with in the denial system (s).
Because the denial system and the role becomes the families or relationships way of relating to one another – with in the unit – the individual unconsciously participates with in their role in order to feel safe with in the family unit or relationship. Instead of buffering the impact of the unresolved pain or conflict the denial system (s) and the assigned or assumed role (s) serve to undermine the family unit, the relationships and the individual’s capacity for creativity.
Instead of shielding the family unit or relationship from having to address the “secret”, unresolved pain or conflict, the denial system (s) and the role (s) serve to splinter the family unit, put a wedge between relationships and prove to hinder the individual’s ability and capacity to trust in the process, a loving God or themselves. Instead of seeing circumstances as a portal to opportunities, they are seen as gauntlets to be endured.
Please read the next part of the series, Part 9 for context. Thank you.
