Please read Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 7 and Part 8 for context. Thank you my friend.
So you may be asking yourself, “How can this series apply to who I am as a traumatic brain injury survivor, someone living with or without an invisible disability or as an individual facing some other type of adversity?” I am glad you asked my friend. That is an excellent question.
Although your set of circumstances, discouragement and disappointments may be different from mine, you and I both have hopes and dreams.
Consequently, whatever you may be experiencing, at the present time in your process — whether you are in the early stages of your rehabilitation, living in a transitional living environment, participating in a day treatment program or you have been living with a brain injury or some other type of adversity for many years — let me assure you.
Hope is in your midst my friend.
My encouragement to you my friend is to look for hope in your present circumstances. Seize the moment, because in hindsight you will realize what was being formed in you — all along. So be encouraged my friend. What is happening in your life is not meant for your harm. What is occurring in your life will be used for your good.
What is being formed in and through you — through hope — is directing you to your dreams. Dreams that will fulfill you.
Please read Part 7 for context. Thank you.
