Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to rest. In my experience, I have found that when I rest, I am able to accept myself. When I am at rest I am able to let go of my need to control while at the same time keeping my focus.
By letting go of my need to control while keeping my focus, I am able to stay in the moment.
And when I live in the moment, I am able to live life on life’s terms. As I live life on life’s terms, I am able to accept that I am right where I am supposed to be. By accepting the reality of my present moment, I am free to seize the moment. Through seizing the moment, I am able to find freedom…the freedom to be me.
When I am free to be me I am free to honor the moment. Consequently, I can choose to use my moment.
The wisdom found with in this awareness honors me, as I honor the moment. Therefore, I am not limited by the moment, but I am free to be in the moment. The moment therefore does not change me, but how I choose to use my moment is what changes me. Consequently, my moment no longer needs to be limited because of my brain injury or disability.
Although my brain has been injured and I have a disability I can use my moments in ways that work for me.
My brain injury and disability may change the way I use my moments, however I no longer need to be limited because of my brain injury or disability. I can learn to use my moments in ways that work for me. Your brain injury and disability may have changed how you use your moment, but you don’t have to be limited in your moment.
Your moment remains the same – because we are not meant to be defined by our limitations, deficits, or disabilities.
We can use our moments in ways that work for us. Our brain injuries and disabilities no longer need limit our moments. We can consider the possibilities. We can pursue our destinies in the moment. We can use our moment in time.
