Hi, and welcome back to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you are back at my table. I had a pleasant Thanksgiving Day. I hope you are doing well my friend. In the midst of doing some housework, I came across a 3 x 5 card amidst other 3 x 5 cards. On this one 3 x 5 card I had written a one line quote several years ago. The quote that had previously left an indelible impression became alive once again.
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.” Robert Lewis Stevenson
As I stopped to meditate upon the meaning inherent within the quote I found myself in delight. My delight arose as I considered the reality of my seed. My success is ever present as I plant seeds of hope. I may never see the harvest from the seeds that I plant, but that does not matter. My contentment and satisfaction is found through the experience of planting seed. I know my seed will flourish.
You may have matters in your life that appear to be foreboding. The obstacle that has become your mountain may appear to be inhospitable. Consequently, you may be led to believe no seed could possibly grow on your mountain. My encouragement to you my friend is to grow where you have been planted. Don’t concern yourself with the harvest, just plant with the seeds of your being.
Know this my friend, your being is able to plant seed because of your mountain. Your seeds will grow because of your mountain. All you need to do is be. Be who you are. Live from your passion and be encouraged because your seed is fertile. Delight in your seed, my friend because more will be revealed. Your seed will flourish. Please read my post, Following your bliss…regardless.
