Welcome back, my friends. I am so glad you used some of your time to visit with me. I am excited about the word, progress. Progress is just that, progress. At times I may think that I am taking 3 steps forward and then 2 steps back, but I making progress. Our perspective of progress can be jaded when we compare ourselves to our expectations. We can also be discouraged when we compare our progress to the progress of others. Success is a manifestation of our willingness to keep moving in the face of what we consider failure. Our perspective will strongly influence how we frame our existence.
I have not failed 700 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.
Thomas Edison
Life is a journey filled with many processes that provide the opportunity to learn what works for us. Failure is an illusion. We are a success, because we chose to hope. You and I are winners because we refuse to give up and give in to the notion that we can’t benefit from what has not worked.
Failure seldom stops you. What stops you is the fear of failure. Jack Lemon
We are a success when we refuse to believe that we are victims. Our attitudes set the stage for triumph or tragedy. Most people seem to see what they are looking for each day. We need to challenge the negative and get excited about the possibilities. Our destinies are being worked out through us. We are victors, not victims. We are not failures. We are destined for greatness.
For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Today’s Thought:
I am destiny set in motion. I have an assignment and I will fulfill that assignment. My purpose will be fulfilled because I chose to trust God and to trust the process. I will get excited about the possibilities. I will walk with confidence, because I am chosen. I will use what has been given to me. I will not lag behind. I will celebrate and use the opportunities that are given to me. I will be a prisoner of hope.

Very inspirational and well written thoughts on life and “the glass half full”. Often it is hard for us to imagine how fantatsic our lives really are on this earth. If we all learned to become confident in our steps and trust the Lord, we could all encourage each other to continue our journies forward and up! Thanks… God bless. I will be sure to pass this site along to others.

i like that quote by thomas edison; it really shows that life and everything about it is all a matter of perspective, and how you choose to see it!
