Welcome to my World. I am glad you are here today. I have learned an important lesson that I want to share with you. Anxiety weighs my heart down, stymies my progress, and interferes with my creative uniqueness. Anxiety wants to rob my time and my aspirations. Anxiety wants to keep me imprisoned.
When I am anxious about something, I am usually deluding myself. Anxiety on many fronts is only an illusion set up to discourage my steps. Anxiety deliberately seeks to victimize and discount my creative greatness.
Anxiety is an energy that can not be displaced. Procrastination will not make what we are anxious about go away. Denying our anxiety will still leave us feeling anxious. Minimizing why we are anxious will only interfere with our ability to achieve desired goals.
A Solution
Therefore, when I am anxious about something in my life, I need to face that anxiety. I need to remember that I am not my anxiety. I am not what I fear. By focusing on the goal, rather than on the anxiety, I am empowered in the face of my anxiety. The goal, rather than the anxiety, then becomes my motivation. Although I may be experiencing tremendous anxiety over something, if I focus on the desired result I am able to move through the anxiety.
I have also discovered something simple, but very profound. Anxiety, in many instances is a learned behavior. As I chose to unleash my greatness, I will look for solutions. With my understanding, I can learn a new behavior. When I am anxious, I can identify why and then learn from that anxiety. By facing my anxiety head on, I am able to challenge my fear. As I challenge and learn from that which contributes to my anxiety, I am able to overcome my anxiety. Overcoming anxiety thus becomes a learned behavior.
Today’s Encouragement
Just for today, I will face my anxiety head on. I will focus on the desired result. Anxiety will not hinder my process. I will not be held captive by anxiety’s energy today. I will not allow anxiety to limit my creativity. Instead, I will face my fear and do what needs to be done to move me closer to my goals. Just for today, I will not allow anxiety to hold me down or to keep me from living life on life’s terms. I will therefore be encouraged. I will use anxiety’s energy for my good. I will push forward in the face of my anxiety. I will learn a new way of living. Consequently, I will be motivated and empowered.
